Our Journey
A Year of Discovery and Design.
Our journey began in Singapore, where we laid the foundation of our design thinking—researching, iterating, and refining our craft in a city pulsing with diversity and innovation. In classrooms and studios within the bustling city, we are challenged to think deeper and create tangible ideas. But the real magic happened when we took a flight to Melbourne.
We found ourselves immersed in the fusion of both cities: the structure and speed of Singapore with the expressive freedom of Melbourne. It has shaped each of us into the designers we are today, balancing logic with intuition.
These experiences distilled the essence of our one-year BDCD journey: adaptive, thoughtful, globally attuned designers who see the world differently and design to make a difference. We are not simply skilful designers, but transformational.
BDCD 2025
Grounded in conceptual thinking and practical skills, BDCD has empowered us to look beyond aesthetics, embracing design as a tool for social impact, connection, and conversation.
We have explored various disciplines, approaching design not merely as a solution but as a responsibility. With our unfolding stories, we graduate as intentional and socially conscious designers, ready to create meaningful storytelling and drive change in the world.
Student Life
The year that felt eternal, filled with moments that unite us. From Singapore to Melbourne and back again, each day marks a new page in our story. Take a look at our camera roll and relive the BDCD experience worth celebrating!
Immersion in Melbourne
In just two weeks, we were swept into the beating heart of Melbourne. It’s a city where every alley whispered stories in spray paint, every zine production buzzed with independent voices, and every step deepened our respect for the land’s First Nations history. From exploring Naarm’s vibrant street art to serene Aboriginal cultural tours, we heard stories of resilience and connection with their roots and ours.
In this trip of diverse experiences, zine-making became our raw and personal voices of expression. Melbourne’s creative chaos became our classroom with unwritten rules. Together, we grew as artists, as storytellers, and as a community.
