Curie: Your Self Compassion Buddy

Curie is a companion app that gamifies the experience of cultivating self-compassion in users aged 10-16.
In Singapore, many young people struggle with self-criticism and lack of self compassion due to factors such as intrusive parents, cultural mindset and generational trauma.
The app introduces self-compassion into users’ daily routines through personalized features and gamified elements like daily journaling and personalization
Users can do daily check-ins and earn in-game credits, which they can use to customize and accessorize their in-game character—making it feel more like a friend or companion.
