MUSEO is a social impact initiative and certification program dedicated to improving accessibility in museums and galleries for individuals with visual impairments and disabilities. The project empowers institutions to become more inclusive through a structured certification process, co-designed with disabled communities, accessibility experts, and cultural leaders. MUSEO also runs an awards and exhibition program that showcases the work of disabled artists and collaborates with local galleries to increase their visibility. At its core, MUSEO is about systemic change, advocating for inclusive design, accessible curation, and equitable representation in the arts. By supporting museums in adopting accessible practices and celebrating those leading the way, MUSEO acts as both a catalyst and a connector. The initiative highlights the cultural value of disabled artists while encouraging institutions to evolve beyond compliance towards genuine inclusivity. Through storytelling, collaboration, and policy, MUSEO reimagines what equitable art spaces can be for everyone.
