Hidden Foundations is a comprehensive initiative to illuminate the systemic challenges migrant workers face in Singapore. This project encompasses a beautifully crafted print book, capturing a historical snapshot of migrant worker conditions in 2025, alongside an interactive website that regularly updates with fresh data and personal stories. By integrating robust statistical information with heartfelt narratives, Hidden Foundations is at the forefront of using data-driven storytelling to engage a broad audience and support essential policy reform. The project addresses critical issues such as labor exploitation, insufficient legal protections, and the complex social dynamics contributing to the isolation of migrant workers. Ultimately, I aim to amplify marginalized voices, cultivate empathy, and inspire meaningful change. This initiative's use of data-driven storytelling ensures its credibility and reliability, making it a valuable resource for public awareness and future advocacy efforts.
