CareerBoost is a ground-up mentorship initiative designed to empower job seekers with lower academic qualifications to access, confidently build, and apply industry-relevant skills for sustainable careers by connecting them with mentors who have successfully navigated non-traditional career paths.

Participants will receive practical support in resume writing, interview preparation, and navigating available training and job resources through small, in-person group sessions held in accessible community spaces. Each mentee is provided with a starter kit, including templates, worksheets, and a guidebook of curated career resources.

Unlike conventional digital advisory services, CareerBoost fosters community-based support and peer motivation. The initiative partners with Workforce Singapore, a government programme, while also engaging corporate CSR programmes to source volunteer mentors. By focusing on accessibility, relevance, and encouragement, CareerBoost helps individuals build the confidence, skills, and networks needed to take their next professional step—ultimately improving employment outcomes and economic mobility for underrepresented groups in Singapore.
As a meticulous and detail-oriented designer, I thrive at the intersection of curiosity, empathy, inclusivity, and collaboration. My work is driven by a deep fascination with human behaviour—how people perceive the world, why they respond the way they do, and how design can thoughtfully guide those interactions. Whether crafting user experiences, service design solutions, or visual narratives, I approach every project with a learner’s mindset, ensuring adaptability and resourcefulness in an ever-evolving field.

I believe great design is not just about aesthetics but about meaningful connection. By prioritising inclusivity and collaboration, I aim to create work that resonates with diverse audiences while fostering clarity and purpose. Eager to contribute my strong communication skills and problem-solving mindset to a forward-thinking team, my goal is to turn my curiosity into impactful design.
