"Ending Toxic Asian Parenting Norms" is a powerful initiative challenging the high-pressure, emotionally distant parenting styles often normalized in Asian households. Inspired by personal experience, this project equips young adults—future parents—with tools to reflect, heal, and break the cycle of abuse and neglect. At its core are two interactive tools: a Self-Assessment Quiz to spark self-awareness, and a bold, empathy-building card game called Toxic No More, turning trauma into teachable moments. Backed by interviews and real statistics, this project doesn’t just highlight the problem—it offers a fun, approachable solution to a deeply rooted cultural issue. It’s not about blame—it’s about growth, support, and building a generation of emotionally aware, resilient caregivers. Because breaking the cycle begins with the courage to ask: How might we do better?
Hi, I'm Vivian — a visual storyteller turned design explorer. After spending five years immersed in filmmaking from pre-production to post, I developed a deep love for both behind-the-scenes roles like producing and camerawork, as well as editing, where my inner detail freak thrives.
(I live for catching continuity errors).

Currently, expanding my creative world beyond the screen and into the realm of thoughtful, human-centered design. I’ve always been drawn to the arts, whether it’s sketching, crafting stories, or just soaking in visual culture. I’m especially curious about how great product design comes to life—what makes something not only functional but meaningful?

If anything, I’d describe myself as a cross-disciplinary creative: someone who connects narrative, visuals, and experience. Whether it's film, graphics, or an object you can hold, I want to make things that people connect with—and maybe even remember.
Also, I’m a big fan of comedy films, variety shows, and music plays a huge part in everything I do.
