Sajian Sembang Santai
Muhammad Nur Izzat Bin Kamil
CAMPAIGN
Sajian Sembang Santai is a mental health awareness campaign aimed at making mental health discourse more comfortable, safe, effective, and accessible for the Malay community in Singapore. It approaches the topic through a more informal setting, responding to a clear demand shown through extensive research and community-based studies.

Stakeholders—from individuals like myself, family members, and friends, to larger players such as directors, founders, educators, and ministers, chipped in to guide the project and anchor it deeply where it should be, in society.

The project is presented through a series of designs, a mini social media talk show, a thought-evoking card deck, traditional media marketing, a data visualisation social media content set, all of which was used to bring even more light to the project and the topic even more so embedded into souls, consequently outwardly into the world.
I’m a passionate creative with a background in UI/UX, and a love for design, writing, language, and public speaking. Quiet at first but expressive once I’m comfortable, I shine brightest when working with others—collaboration brings out the best in me.

I often wrestle with impostor syndrome and creative low self-esteem, but it drives me to push harder, think deeper, and create with heart. I’m especially drawn to visual storytelling—film photography, short films, videography, and social media content. I may still be learning the ropes, but I approach it all with curiosity and soul.

Through this journey, I’ve learnt the value of support, community, and embracing the unknown. I hope to carve a path in the media and creative industry—writing, producing, designing, and building my on-screen voice.

This show marks not just a culmination of my growth, but a step forward into a space where I can keep creating with purpose—and with pride.
