Makan & Kain

CAMPAIGN
Makan (Ma-Kahn) & Kain (Kah-in) is a mall-food festival which takes place in Lucky Plaza and celebrates the bold flavours of Singapore and the Philippines! This concept was inspired by the unity in rice and noodles being the main ingredient used in Asian dishes.

This project aims to cultivate an environment where Filipinos and Singaporeans could learn from each other and create a richer, more connected cultural landscape.

The mall-food festival is for Filipinos while keeping it inviting to Singaporeans and promoting Filipino culture and collaboration with both communities, which encourages interactions and cultural appreciation for Singaporeans and Filipinos.
Hi there, I’m Niegel! My passion in design started when I dived into Photoshop at the age of 12 - What started as a simple curiosity has become a lifelong creative journey. My background in integrated communications design gives me the knowledge to explore UI/UX and campaign design solutions. I’m usually curious and driven to uncover thoughtful and creative ideas.

What excites me most is the ability to create works that connect with people on a deeper level and make them feel acknowledged or inspired! I am ready to explore new spaces to create meaningful stories and design experiences as I step into the next chapter of my journey in design.
